B7H4 protein is a cell surface protein belonging to the B7/CD28 immune regulatory family. This protein plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses and tumor immune evasion. Overexpression of B7H4 is associated with the development and progression of various tumors, making it a potential target for cancer therapy. Additionally, B7H4 may also promote tumor immune evasion by influencing the function of other immune cells in the tumor microenvironment, such as inhibiting natural killer cells (NK cells) and regulatory T cells (Treg cells). The B7H4 protein is of great interest in the fields of immunotherapy and tumor immunotherapy.
