Casticin（Vitexicarpin，蔓荆子黄素，紫花牡荆素）属于多甲氧基黄酮类化合物，能够抑制 STAT3 的活化，具有抗有丝分裂和抗炎活性。Casticin对乳腺癌、肺癌、宫颈癌、肝癌及胃癌等多种肿瘤细胞有较强的增殖抑制活性。Casticin可以介导多种药理活性，如抗氧化，抗病毒，心血管保护，抗肿瘤和抗炎等。
