CCL5全称C-C基序趋化因子配体5，又称RANTES (Regulated upon Activation, Normal T Cell Expressed and Presumably Secreted)。它对多种免疫细胞（如T细胞、单核细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞）具有趋化作用，能将白细胞募集到炎症部位。此外，它还能通过其受体（如CCR1、CCR3、CCR5）激活免疫细胞，参与炎症反应、T细胞活化等过程。
