Doxorubicin（Adriamycin、Hydroxydaunorubicin、阿霉素、多柔比星）是一种细胞毒性蒽环类抗生素，属于蒽环类抗肿瘤药物，与柔红霉素结构类似，既含有脂溶性的蒽环配基，又有水溶性的柔红糖胺，并有酸性酚羟基和碱性氨基，因此具有很强的抗癌药理活性。Doxorubicin对DNA拓扑异构酶II (topoisomerase II, topo II)的IC₅₀值为2.67 μM，对DNA拓扑异构酶I (Topoisomerase I, topo I)的IC₅₀值为0.8 μM，抑制DNA复制，诱导细胞凋亡。
