AZD5438 (AZD-5438)是可口服、可逆的细胞周期蛋白依赖性激酶CDK1/2/9抑制剂，IC₅₀值为16 nM、6 nM、20 nM，通过抑制CDK底物磷酸化诱导细胞周期阻滞，在多种肿瘤细胞中表现出抗增殖活性。此外，AZD5438也能抑制GSK-3β的活性，IC₅₀值为17 nM。
