Emerin is a serine-rich nuclear membrane protein and a member of the nuclear lamina-associated protein family. It mediates membrane anchorage to the cytoskeleton. Dreifuss-Emery muscular dystrophy is an X-linked inherited degenerative myopathy resulting from mutation in the emerin gene.

Flow cytometric analysis of Emerin expression in HepG2 cells using Emerin antibody . Green, isotype control; red, Emerin.

Immunocytochemical staining of H9C2 cells with Emerin antibody (Cat #61962, 1:1,000) . Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; Emerin was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor® 647. Western blotting analysis using Emerin antibody . Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with Emerin antibody and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody respectively. Image was developed using FeQ™ ECL Substrate Kit .

Validation of Emerin knockdown using flow cytometry. Wild-type(WT, Blue) and knockdown(KD, Green) HeLa cells were stained with Emerin antibody and analyzed using BD flow cytometer.
