This protein and Grb10-interacting GYF protein 2 have been identified as a components of the mammalian 4EHP (m4EHP) complex. The complex is thought to function as a translation repressor in embryonic development.

Flow cytometric analysis of ZNF598 expression in HeLa cells using ZNF598 antibody . Green, isotype control; red, ZNF598.

Immunocytochemical staining of Hela cells with ZNF598 antibody . Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; ZNF598 was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor® 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: Medium. Scale bar, 20 μm.

Western blotting analysis using ZNF598 antibody . Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with ZNF598 antibody and HRP-conjugated goat anti-mouse secondary antibody respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit .

Western blotting analysis using ZNF598 antibody . ZNF598 expression in wild-type (WT) and ZNF598 knockdown (KD) 293T cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates. Hsp90 α serves as a loading control.
